Crassula and Echeverias

Since all the pouring rain, I have turned some of my attention to beautiful varieties to have inside.
Still totally enthused by succulents :)

Echeveria Lilacina
(I hope, there are so many varieties.)

....this one will take some time to find out. It has a wonderful little talent, it throws off branches which then root themselves to ensure multiplication.

Crassula Schmidtii
beautiful and in flower

so this is how the shop looks while it is quite miserable outside.
Have a cozy day!

Summers table decoration

Oh I always forget to water my flowers at home, seem to forget about that as soon as I leave work.
So beautiful sempervivums take their place on the outside table and hopefully will grow happily by themselves ;)

Wonderful succulents

Simple semperviviums are just lovely in their own right. After trying to keep flowers looking good a whole long rainful summer my love for succulents are renewed. And a great thankfulness for their ability to grow anywhere.

Since my shop is close to a popular cottage area, many of my customers come out for long weekends etc. So a bowl of different succulents will always be ready for their return, with beautiful flowered shape patterns differnt colours and textures.

Little terracotta birds give a romantic touch.

Large bowls ready to fill the bowl and the finally flow over the edges.

Gingerbread house or town"ship"

Christmas is nearing and the discussions have started in our home on what this years little construction is going to be. Things are getting very advanced and heated. But here is a gorgeous little town and reminder of how many on our little planet will be living. Nothing like a reminder of what the focus in Christmas should be,....helping others.

Time with lights

I actually love the darkest time of year. My husband just told me that the sun is going to "turn" in 20 days, ie. the days will start getting longer. I kinda thought it sad as it is just beautiful to see little lights shinning everywhere.

Magic mushrooms, Christmas decorations.

While it is obviously quite possible to fall off the band wagon, time just flies. But we are in the lovely process of preparing for Christmas, really just the best time ever. Here are little mushrooms that Uma and I have been making for the tree.
